Heifer Project

Heifter Project International, based in Arkansas, raises animals that are donated to persons in need in the United States and around the world. When an individual receives a flock of chicks they are taught how to care for and raise them, then when the hens hatch a batch of chicks they are passed on to help another family. In 2010, our VBS children donated 18 flocks of chicks through HPI to help combat hunger. To learn more about this wonderful organization visit their website.
